Dear Friends,
As you probably know, Tamera, like many communities, stands at a threshold of crisis, renewal, and opportunity. In this letter we are thrilled to share two major milestones that mark a new era for Tamera.
The PIER process
After ten years of navigating complex regulations, the PIER process is now entering its final phase. Thanks to cooperative local authorities, we expect to receive the special permit to change the land-use plan in the coming months. This will allow us to legally expand our settlement within a protected landscape, creating an international model for regionally integrated, self-sufficient communities. A dedicated team of architects, engineers, and lawyers has been working closely with local authorities to plan and legalize existing and future buildings. So far, we have invested €200,000 in the PIER process and are preparing to
fundraise for the next phase of construction. We warmly invite your support in this visionary step forward.
Open for new Members in Tamera
Alongside this, we are reopening our doors to new co-workers through a three-year educational accompaniment program beginning in Spring 2026. After a decade of not welcoming new members, this program offers a step-by-step process into Tamera, combining inner growth, collective learning, and hands-on contribution. Each year includes evaluation thresholds to ensure a thoughtful path toward potential long-term membership.
We invite motivated, committed individuals to join us on this special life journey. Whether your skills lie in ecological regeneration, renewable energy, education, healthcare, building, or communication, there might be a place for you in Tamera’s next chapter. If you know Tamera well, in both its light and its shadow, and feel called to dedicate your life to building a culture of peace, we warmly encourage you to apply and participate in this extraordinary opportunity.
